Delete from the app
- Sign in to your account.
Open One Book a Day using the email address associated with your account. - Open Profile → Privacy & data.
Select Delete account. - Read and confirm the deletion.
If your last sign-in was more than 10 minutes ago, sign in again before confirming.
When the app confirms success, your reader account has been removed and your sessions are revoked. If it reports an error or a connection problem, do not assume the request completed; sign in again or contact us for help.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the app, send a deletion request to info@cctechnologies.business from the email address registered to your account. Use the subject “Delete my One Book a Day account” and say that you want the account and its associated reader data deleted.
We may need to verify account ownership before processing the request. Never send a password, sign-in code, payment information, or device push token. Sending an email does not itself confirm deletion; the operator will handle the request and any necessary identity checks.

Write a deletion requestWhat is removed
Account deletion removes the live reader account and linked reader data, including:
- Your account email and reading preferences, including preference history.
- Your assigned books, saved-book state, reading and action progress, and linked reader engagement records.
- Registered reader devices and their push tokens.
- Linked reminder jobs and attempts, inventory alerts, and reader support notes.
Sign-in codes for the account are deleted and its sessions are revoked, stopping future access and reminders for that account. Published editorial content is not your account data and is not removed.
What can remain
- Encrypted backups: rolling database backups are retained for 14 days. Your information may remain in an existing backup until it expires.
- Operational security and audit history: retained without raw email addresses or device tokens. These records may contain pseudonymous identifiers and currently have no automated expiry.
- Revoked sessions and necessary security records: retained according to their operational cleanup rules, rather than all being erased at the moment you delete the reader account.
Retained records are not an active reader account. This page does not promise immediate removal from every backup or historical security record.
Before you leave
Deleting the account cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your reader data, first use Profile → Privacy & data → Download my data.
